Dr. Sabree A. Crowton

Pronouns: She/her

Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist and work with adults in individual and couples therapy on a variety of concerns. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University and previously conducted research on eating disorders at Center for Change, an inpatient eating disorder treatment center in Orem, Utah. My clinical experience has involved working at university counseling centers, private practices, and a psychiatric clinic. I am the owner of Sage Psychology and love the opportunity to meet with clients of all backgrounds.

As a clinician, I strive to create an egalitarian relationship and place the utmost value on individual agency. I incorporate a feminist perspective which prioritizes the societal, cultural, and political factors that impact the lives of clients. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and deliberate. My approach emphasizes the development of a strong therapeutic relationship and research based practices. Some modalities I rely on include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relational-cultural therapy (RCT), and emotion focused therapy (EFT). I am firmly committed to creating a safe and warm environment to individuals of all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, and faiths.
